Act.IL is a social networking mobile app launched in June 2017 that can be used on Apple products such as iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch or on devices using Android. It is used by supporters of Israel to oppose what they consider anti-Israel content and biased media coverage such as that promoted by anti-Israeli organizations such as the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement (BDS).

Quote from the article: "The Herzliya headquarters is the base of Act.il, a hybrid Israel advocacy effort and online information operation. A joint project of two Israeli not-for-profits, it is led by former Israeli intelligence officers and has close ties to Israel’s intelligence services, its Ministry of Strategic Affairs and American Jewish casino billionaire Sheldon Adelson. Act.il’s leaders frame the program as an effort to counterbalance anti-Israel attitudes online. Act.il aims to “build a strong and effective online community that will act to change the narrative,” said the project’s founder and CEO, Yarden Ben Yosef."
Act.IL offers training courses, quote: "We conduct modular trainings, which deliver versatile content through practical workshops, ranging from introductory New-Media & Public-Diplomacy materials, to our acclaimed Situation-Room Simulation where participants practice running an online Pro-Israeli Situation-Room."
Quote from their website: "OUR VISION - Our vision is to create an online community that will act to promote a positive influence on the international public opinion towards the state of Israel via social media platforms. Anyone, Anywhere, Anytime. OUR MAIN GOAL - Is to positively inform and influence foreign publics and create an efficient and effective battle against the growing trend of the boycott movement (BDS) and the delegitimization of the State of Israel."
Act.IL is a joint venture of the Israeli American Council (IAC) and the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC), based on IDC’s “Situation Room” that was founded during Operations “Pillar of defense” (2012) and “Protective Edge” (2014)
Act.IL ran several campaigns including one called "Celebrate Diversity", which, quote: 'was aimed to highlight the people of Israel and their variety (thus portraying the Israeli Multiculturalism & Diversity). The video is up-beat in style delivering a message that encourages its viewers to learn more about Israel's Diversity by "Seeing for themselves"'
