Arne Dembek is a German minister for the Protestant parish of Kandel.
Dembek held a funeral service for a girl murdered by a refugee where he 'warned against prejudgments'. On December 27 the 15-year old girl was murdered in the city of Kandel by her ex-boyfriend, an Afghani refugee who claimed to be 15.
Dembek is the commissioner of the Evangelical Church of the Palatinate responsible for working with non-German speaking Christians and migrant communities. According to the Church they have 'a special responsibility towards our Christian brothers and sisters who came to us from other countries.'
