The Bulgarian Helsinki Committee (BHC) motioned the Pazarjik District Prosecutor’s Office to recuse the investigating police officer working on the pre-trial proceedings in connection to the attack against Mitko Yonkov because of the officer’s bold racist remarks made in the presence of the victim’s lawyer and his mother.
