Clifford Scott "Cliff" Asness (born October 17, 1966) is the co-founder of AQR Capital Management and a financial analyst. Asness was born to a Jewish family.

In 2013, Asness was a signatory to an amicus curiae brief submitted to the Supreme Court in support of same-sex marriage during the Hollingsworth v. Perry case.
He sits on the Board of Trustees of the American Enterprise Institute and the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research.
