Up until 2007, Franziska Drohsel was a member of the organization "Rote Hilfe" ("Red Aid"), which was observed by the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution and considered left-wing extremist.
Quote: "German Nation is something I'm not referring to positively - I would even fight it politically."
Franziska Drohsel, the chairwoman of the Young Socialists in the SPD, attacks conspiracy theories and anti-Semitism in her own political camp. It can not be tolerated that right-wing ideas are spread under a left-wing label. She demands: Left-wing thinking must distance itself above all from Islamism.
