Gina Miller [...] was the lead claimant in a challenge heralded as one of the most important constitutional cases in generations. She challenged Theresa May’s bid to avoid a parliamentary vote on triggering Brexit, arguing that using the Royal Prerogative to invoke Article 50 to leave the European Union without asking MPs to approve it is unconstitutional.
Ms Miller is the founder and chairman of Miller Philanthropy, which she launched with her husband Alan, the original “Mr Hedge Fund”, who made more than £30 million in the City.
Gina Miller is on the Board of Trustees of the Philanthropy Impact foundation. [This information has been censored on various websites. It can still be found here http://beta.charitycommission.gov.uk/charity-details/?regid=1089157&subid=0 unter 'People']
Miller's husband Alan Miller has business ties to George Soros: "Legendary investor George Soros is considering handing over $100m to new fund management company New Star Asset Management to invest for him. Soros previously held talks with Jupiter when it started the Jupiter Hedge Fund. That fund, run by Alan Miller, has moved with Miller to New Star. New Star chief executive Howard Covington refused to comment on whether discussions were taking place."
