Achievements

  • Slowik led the violent attack by masked Antifa activists on Jan, 24th 2014 on the annual Academics Ball (Akademikerball) organized by the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ). In 2015 he received a one year prison sentence confirmed by the highest Austrian court, despite a massive press campaign both in Germany and Austria picturing him as a innocent victim of Austrian justice system. Several NGOs including Amnesty International tried to intervene in his case. A large fundraising campaign was organized by Antifa groups and his family in order to finance the defense.
