Mehreen Faruqi

Mehreen Saeed Faruqi (born 8 July 1963) is a migrant from Lahore, Pakistan to Australia who later became a politician representing the Australian Greens in the Senate.

  • Faruqi posted on Twitter in response to Senator Pauline Hanson's "It's OK to be White" motion, "The white supremacy the Government voted for yesterday has no place in Australia.", along with a video of the speech. The motion was addressing the anti-white racism in Australia, which Faruqi had labelled "white supremacist".
