Raúl Krauthausen

Raúl Aguayo-Krauthausen (1980) is a Peruvian-German disability rights activist. He studied Social and Economic Communication at the Berlin University of the Arts and Design Thinking at the HPI School of Design Thinking. He was awarded the Order of Merit of Germany and is an Ashoka Fellow.

  • Krauthausen is a supporter and speaker for the Journalismusforum 2017 (Engl.: Journalismforum 2017). The forum, organised by the media academy of the public service broadcasters ARD and ZDF, has the following motto in the year 2017: "Countering populism with diversity" (Ger.: Mit Vielfalt gegen Populismus). The forum's goal is "to make editorial departments more colourful [a.i. more non-European people] and to train diversity in people's minds, so that they can reach an audience more broadly."
