Roger Jason Stone Jr. (27 August 1952) is an American political consultant, author, lobbyist, and strategist known for his use of opposition research, usually for candidates of the Republican Party. Since the 1970s Stone has worked on the campaigns of Republican politicians including Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Jack Kemp, Bob Dole and Donald Trump.

Stone has been a long-time adviser to Donald Trump. They were first introduced by the homosexual Jewish lawyer Roy Cohn, who has been described as Trump's mentor.
Stone has been described as an LGBT ally in the Republican party. When asked about his sexual orientation he replied ‘I'm trysexual [....] I've tried everything.’ Christopher R. Barron, the President of Right Turn Strategies and the co-founder of GOProud, writes: ‘When I co-founded GOProud, an advocacy group for gay conservatives and their allies, Roger Stone was one of the first big-name Republicans who I asked to join its Advisory Council.’
