Ruth Allyn Marcus is a journalist who currently writes an op-ed column for The Washington Post. In March 2007, she was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Commentary. Marcus was born in Philadelphia and grew up in a Jewish family in Livingston, New Jersey.
Wrote an article for Washington Post praising the removal of President Trump's staffers Flynn and Bannon who were outspoken against intervention in Syria: "A White House with Michael Flynn gone and Bannon neutered is a better place, and the country is safer for it. Adults are in the (situation) room."
