Kramer sees the greatest danger to Thuringian security in right-wing extremism, and not in Islamic terrorism.
Kramer stated that the democratic party Afd (Alternative für Deutschland) is closely associated with right-wing extremists.
Kramer accused Thilo Sarrazin, author of "Germany Abolishes Itself", of writing "racist tirades of hate." Sarrazin's book warns of the dangers facing Germany with its low birth-rates and unfiltered Islamic immigration.
Kramer is on the board of directors of the Amadeu Antonio Foundation.
